Tennis retail in the US is a mix of specialty tennis shops, club pro shops, big sporting goods chains and running stores that carry court shoes. Specialty shops and pro shops demo racquets for a small fee that is usually credited toward a purchase, and they string racquets on site, typically within a day or two, with string and labor priced separately. Sporting goods chains stock entry-level racquets, balls and apparel at lower prices but rarely offer stringing or fitting advice. Court construction and resurfacing companies serve clubs, schools and homeowners; a hard court is typically resurfaced every five to eight years.

We shop at this Target regularly when we're visiting my mother-in-law nearby, and it has become one of our go-to stops in the area. The store has a great selection and usually has everything we're looking for, but the recent remodel has made a huge improvement. The new layout feels much more logical and intuitive, and it's noticeably easier to navigate the store and find what you need without wandering around trying to figure out where everything went. The store is clean, well stocked, and convenient, and the updated layout makes the entire shopping experience that much better. Really nice job on the remodel!

If I could leave one star I would. I have never met such unprofessional staff. Debbie accused me of STEALING when I tried to ask her to remove a security tag from a garment I paid for! This is frankly disgusting and no one should assume that someone is STEALING at a company such as Target. You’re there for guest services and need to act like it!

It's a target, pretty much like every other target you have been too. It has targety type stuff arranged in a targety way with targety staff and a pharmacy to boot, like most other targets. It's cleaner and less rude than Walmart and portrays itself as higher class than them. My assessment, dear reader, is that this particular target store is very targety in a most target like fashion. Enjoy!!

This is going to be a long review. First of all, I went to this Target on Virginia Beach Blvd., in Virginia Beach, VA, on March 26, 2026, to purchase some paper products, Bounty in particular. The towels I was going to purchase were $16.99 before tax. There were other items in my cart. I went to check out and a very nice lady waited on me. I had a coupon for UP TO $18.00 OFF from Proctor & Gamble that I received for defective paper towels. I believe the expiration date was December 31, 2026. The lady tried scanning the coupon and it wouldn't take. She called over another lady who also tried with negative results. Then another lady came over whom I believe was some type of supervisor who was not very nice and said we don't take that coupon. I told the lady who was checking me out that in that case I did not want the paper towels. I paid for my other goods and left the store. I then went to Wegman's supermarket and purchased the towels at a cost of $17.49 and the P&G coupon was accepted. This really made me mad that Target didn't say why a valid coupon was not accepted. When I arrived home, I called the Target 800 customer service number because I couldn't get an answe

I had a really uncomfortable experience at Target. I was trying to purchase a purse (it was only $35), and an employee stopped to check it before I bought it. I understand that happens, but the way it was handled felt excessive and unnecessary. She kept unzipping and reopening the same pocket over and over at least four times even though it was clear there was nothing inside. It’s a simple purse with one main pocket, so it didn’t make sense to keep checking like something would suddenly appear. What made it worse was that it felt like the situation was being dragged out in front of other people. It almost seemed like she was trying to put on a show or draw attention, which made me feel embarrassed and uncomfortable. I ended up leaving because the whole situation just didn’t feel right. I’ve never experienced anything like that before. I understand employees have a job to do, but this could have been handled much more quickly and respectfully.
